Research Tools: Can you dig it?

I love to dig for STUFF. What I mean is: when I have a question, a curosity or an assignment; I get to dig.
First of all, where do I begin? What do I want to know about? I begin by asking questions regarding the topic. The who, when, why, where & how questions help me know what to find.
Then, I know this is going to be a shock; I begin in the library. I look for a book &/or print materials to help begin my quest. Need more...
Encylopedias, almanacs, atlass and dictionaries help answer those questions too. From school you have hundreds of Online Resources at your fingertips.
You don't have encylopedias at home? You do now. As a Lee's Summit School District student you have remote access to World Book Online. Remember to get the access codes from your librarian.
Don't forget online resources. Teachers/professors help the students by building a page of safe websites to navigate towards to research your topic. I can also go to Mid Continent Public Library (MCPL)website. Just plug in my library card number and set up an account. They have an amazing collection of Online Resources.
Now you have so much information you will never have another question regarding your topic. Until...you have another quest.
